Sanchez joins Emery! Spaniard is Sacked by Watford 12 Games After He was reappointed

Watford FC have sacked their Manager Quique Sanchez Flores just 85 days on the job.

Quique was reappointed for a second spell with the EPL club as replacement for the sacked Javi Gracia in September.

The Hornets are bottom of the table, having won just one out of 14 league games this season.

In a statement published on its website, the club expressed “regret” with the decision to allow the Spaniard leave.

“Quique is a man of great integrity and it was clear how much he wanted to have a positive impact, but ultimately results have dictated our decision,” said Hornets’ Chairman & CEO Scott Duxbury.

Since his appointment the 54 year-old only managed two wins, four draws and six defeats including the 8-0 trouncing against Manchester City.

Under his charged Nigerian attacker Isaac Success did not feature in any competition.

Reports are linking current captain and Odion Ighalo’s former strike partner Troy Deeney to step in as Player Manager.

But the club has says “No further comment from Watford FC will be made until a new Head Coach is announced.”
