Super Eagles handlers and players should take responsibility for Eagles failure – Lawal

Former Nigeria Super Eagles winger, Garba Lawal has called on the coaches and players of the Nigerian National team to take full responsibility of the team’s failure at the 2019 AFCON after crashing out on Sunday Night in the semifinals.

Garba in an exclusive chat with brila.net stated that the entire team including the coaches need to be blamed on this and no one should be spared.

”I believe football is all about winning, and as a player and coach they need to take responsibility for the loss, no coach or player wants to lose a game but when it comes like these, there is nothing you can do,” Lawal said.

”We lost to a very good Algerian side, I think the belmadi-led guys from the North deserved to win because they came with a plan and it pays off for them”.

The Super Eagles had no options than to bow out of the tournament after losing to a well tactical Algeria side.
