Volleyball: Customs face Immigration in 2019 Premier league opener

Defending champion, Nigeria Customs Service will battle Nigeria Immigration in the first men’s match of the 2019 Nigeria Volleyball Premier League in Asaba.

The coach of Nigeria Customs Service volleyball teams, Femi Akanni said his mission is to defend the titles won by his team last season.

He added that the matches against Nigeria Immigration and Benue Queens are the beginning of the title defense.

He said, “The Nigeria Immigration men’s volleyball team is a tough side but we always have a way of handling them which is not going to be different this time around.

“This mission is to defend our title and we will achieve this because we are playing almost the same set of teams we played last year”.

He further said, “We have all it takes to win again; all the areas we had lapses have been corrected. So I do not think we have any issues winning any team in the premier league”.
