Super Eagles Showered With $192,500 For Beating Cameroon

The Super Eagles look set to smile home with $192,500 after beating Cameroon in the round of 16 of ongoing African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Alteo boss Benedict Peters had promised to give the team $100,000 if they beat Cameroon and additional $25,000 per goal.

It’s also believed that the Lagos state government also promised to reward each player with $5,000 while the NFF will pay each player $12,500 as earlier agreed with the players.

The players put the devastating defeat to Madagascar behind them and sent the defending champions parking from the tournament.

Three time African Champions will now take on Bafana Bafana of South Africa in Quater final game, scheduled for Cairo International stadium on Wednesday.
