The Cyprus Women’s Cup is an invitational football tournament for female national teams around the world.
This development comes on the back of the promise made by the President of the Nigerian Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick that he will ensure the girls get adequate preparation ahead of the World Cup in France next year to enable them to compete with their peers on the global stage.

The tournament is billed for February 25th – March 7th next year. Four of the twelve teams confirmed for the tournament will be competing at the World Cup finals in France.
They include South Africa, Nigeria, Italy, and Thailand.
The Super Falcons of Nigeria have been drawn in group C of the invitational tournament alongside Belgium, Slovakia, and Austria as the African champions try to have a feel of what awaits them at the World Cup finals next year June.
