Tennis Legend Roger Federer WCW is his wife

World No. 4 Roger Federer has showered praises and love on his wife Mirka, as he reflected on their journey so far, he said “She started dating me when I had zero titles, so she has been part of almost every title”.

The couple first met him at the 2000 Summer Olympics, then got married in April 2009 and have four children. “She did not travel to every tournament I went in the beginning obviously because she was playing herself but what a great support she has been. She could help me out with the media.”

 

Miroslava “Mirka” Federer is a Slovak-born Swiss former professional tennis player. She reached her career-high WTA singles ranking of world No. 76 on 10 September 2001 and a doubles ranking of No. 215 on 24 August 1998.

 

Roger Federer, a devoted family man insists that Mirka, his wife of nine years, and kids, will always be his priority.

 

Federer, spends much of the year away from the family home in his native Switzerland. But he takes his wife Mirka and their two sets of twins with him wherever he goes.

 

In 2018, it was reported that the Tennis legend refuses to sleep in a bed without his wife – even when he is competing in far flung locations.. he said “I can only thank her for everything she has done for me.”

 

He also reflected on how he dealt with pressure and expectations: “In the beginning, you are trying to get used to the situation. You want to be the best possible that you can be….”

 

Federer said tennis gave me a lot, In general, the ultimate confidence in life. It also gave me memories, friendships.
