William Troost-Ekong looked to have been healing well as he took part in Udinese’s training session on Tuesday morning after missing Super Eagles clash with Seychelles.
Troost-Ekong had to withdraw from the Nigeria squad after sustaining an injury in Udinese’s 1-0 loss to Fiorentina on September 2.
Udinese have, however, reported on their official website that Troost-Ekong underwent individual training on Monday along with Nicholas Opoku and Antonin Barak.
Super Eagles Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr will be excited to see Troost-Ekong return to training as he is one of the players certain to be named on the squad for next month’s AFCON qualifier against Libya.
