Striker Mfon Udoh has stated that he is excited to be back in the national team fold following his invitation to the CHAN Eagles ahead of this weekend’s CHAN 2020 qualifier against Togo.
Udoh told www.Cornerstonenewsng.comthat the feeling of being back is “good” and hopes to keep the flag flying for Nigeria. He believes the quality of the invited players makes Nigeria favorites, on paper, to reach the 2020 CHAN tournament.
“It’s always good to represent your country, any time we are been called to represent Nigeria like this, we need to keep the flag flying,” said the Akwa United.
“And we are going to try our best to make sure Nigeria qualify for the CHAN.”
