Excitement beckons as football fans are set for another pre-season thrill with Brila FM’s RevolutionPlus ‘Wave Ur Banner’ event starting from 1st of August through 10th of August, 2019.
This will be the first of its kind as the 2019 edition of the Wave Your Banner event is tagged ‘Wave Ur Banner Reloaded’.
Over the years, Wave your banner has always been an opportunity to celebrate fans who themselves regularly devote enormous physical, mental and financial resources while celebrating their preferred football clubs.
Debbie Larry-Izamoje, who heads the company’s Corporate Development has disclosed that the 2019 edition brings another opportunity to celebrate the fans in a different way.
In her words, “It’s 2019, We want the fans to be as creative as possible and the event will run for 10 days”.
She went further to explain how the Fans are expected to participate in the online event – “Fans will have to take pictures of themselves in their favourite club Jerseys and send to our Facebook platform between 1st of August and 5th of August.
The brila online team will select 20 of the best pictures between 6th and 9th August, the selected pictures will be posted on our social media platforms for our Audience to vote.
On 10th of August, the 5 pictures with the highest votes will qualify for the final round where the winners will be decided by our celebrity football legends live in the studio of Sports Radio 88.9 Brila FM from (10-11am).
