The memories of Wilfred Agbonavbare will continue to live on at his former club side Rayo Vallecano, who have a mural of the late goalkeeper on of its Stadium gates.
Agbonavbare, who made over 170 appearances for the Liga club side, died in 2015 after a battle with cancer.
The tribute to the former player bear the words: “For your defense of this shirt, and your fight against racism, Rayo will never forget you. Eternal Willy.”

“Willy” as he is known to Los Vallecanos faithfuls, was a Nigeria international and he was capped 15 times for the Super Eagles.
