11 soldiers shot dead by bandits in March ,20 have been buried at the Commonwealth Cemetery, Kaduna.
Gunmen had attacked soldiers on special duties at Kampanin Doka Village in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area ,killing 11 soldiers while many others were injured.
Maj.Gen.Mohammed Mohammed who represented Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen.Tukur Buratai ,said the death of the soldiers was painful,but sacrificial.
He said the Army would remain resolute in the war :” We will remain committed towards guaranteeing the peace and security of Nigeria and Nigerians, regardless of situations such as this.We will continue to fight banditry ,kidnapping ,cattle rustling and other forms of crimes.
