Mustapha focused on league and top scorer success

Plateau United striker Ibrahim Mustapha has stated that he is still very focussed on winning the league and emerging as top scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League season despite the Coronavirus pandemic that has halted the NPFL season since mid-March 2020.

Mustapha speaking in a chat with  brila.net said having won the league title last season with Enyimba. He still wants another taste of the title this time as league top scorer which he believes will help enhance his chances of attracting better offers and greener pastures.
Mustapha is Plateau’s top scorer and leagues second top scorer before the break this season with 11 goals.
“It’s my target to win the highest goalscorer and to win the league back to back because I won it last year with Enyimba and now in Plateau, I will like to win it. If I win it back to back it will be good for me. Normally the highest goalscorer in the Nigerian league helps people because you will see big offers as a result.”
