5 Reasons to Pre-Order Battlefield 5 & 4 Reasons to Wait

5 Reasons to Pre-Order Battlefield 5 & 4 Reasons to Wait is a post by Adam Mills from Gotta Be Mobile.

Battlefield 5 pre-orders are live ahead of the game’s release date in October. While some of you might want to pre-order the game today, others are better off waiting a few weeks or, in some cases, skipping a pre-order.

With Battlefield 1 development slowing down, EA DICE’s turned its attention to the next installment in the long-running series. As expected, the next Battlefield game is called Battlefield 5 (stylized as Battlefield V) and it takes Xbox One, PS4, and Windows PC owners to the battlefields of World War 2.

DICE hasn’t confirmed a release for the Nintendo Switch so there’s a good chance the game will miss the portable console in 2018.

The Battlefield 5 trailer is also live giving gamers their first look at the next Battlefield game. The teaser is light on gameplay and EA says it’ll show off the game’s multiplayer mode in detail at EA Play 2018 in early June. Those in attendance at EA Play will also be able to play a portion of the game well ahead of its release date.

The trailer and the return to the battlefields of World War 2 might’ve already sold some of you on a Battlefield 5 pre-order. There are also some other perks to putting in an early order including early access to the beta and the final version of the game when it arrives in October.

Putting in a pre-order is certainly tempting, but there are also some reasons why you might want to hang back and wait for more information to emerge.

In this guide we’ll take you through the best reasons to, and not to, pre-order Battlefield 5 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or Windows PC right now.
