Former Nigeria international Mutiu Adepoju has thumbed up the exploit of Nigerian players abroad especially the form of players invited to feature for Nigeria ahead of the prestige international friendly against Five times world champion Brazil.
Adepoju speaking in a chat with brila.net said the recent form shown by the players will help instill confidence in the individual players which in turn will boost the confidence level of the team.
“Very interesting and very good for the team and it will give confidence to the players too. That notwithstanding they have to be consistent because if you score a goal and slow down, others will come up. They have to be consistent in their playing week in week out. I think it’s good for the Super Eagles.”
