Former Nigeria’s Super Eagles player Garba Lawal has urged Club Brugge of Belgium and Nigerian forward Dennis Emmanuel to keep his heroic showing against Real Madrid as Nigerian players abroad try to play themselves into reckoning under Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr.
Lawal speaking in a chat with brila.net hailed the Belgium based player for showing himself in a big occasion like the one against Real Madrid urging the player to show a lot of consistency and continuity in the game which is what is needed in the national team.
“He’s fantastic, he is a good player and scoring in a big game like this shows that he has a lot of qualities and abilities. When you play against a big club, that is when you show your talent which he did and I hope he continues that way. It’s all about continuity and consistency.”
