Arsenal in positive talks with players over pay cut

Arsenal are reportedly close to their pay cut saga that will see at least 12.5 percent monthly reduction amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The club has been locked in a discussion with the Players for the past few weeks to have their wages slashed in order to look after their non-staffs.

It has been difficult for the premier leagues’ clubs to continue making money after the league has been shut down indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic and the club has insisted they won’t be furloughing any of the non-playing staffs.

Talks between the players and the club have reached positive stages and announcements could be made in the 48 hours.

Meanwhile, Leading Premier League footballers have launched a fund for NHS charities called #PlayersTogether to aid the fight against coronavirus.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, Tottenham and England captain Harry Kane and Manchester United captain Harry Maguire were among the players to tweet out a statement last  Wednesday.
