Enyimba FC Captain, Austin Oladapo is confident that his team can still grab a continental football ticket despite a slow start to the season.
The dynamo midfield maestro who is relishing his role under Finidi George believes that it’s never over until the final kick of the season.
“We will give our best and fight till the very end of the season to achieve our aim, there are other teams fighting for this same spot, but am quite confident that we will get the ticket”, he spoke exclusively to Sports247.
“Enyimba is a giant football club, the coach and the technical crew are solidly doing their job and we as players will play our best out for the maximum result and for the fans who have always been behind us.”
“We will take each match as they come, push harder, get the results and do the same for every game until the last.”
Currently placed 6th on the NPFL log with 30 matches played, Austin and Enyimba will welcome Sunshine Stars today at their home ground as the bid for the continental slot heats up.
