The Super Eagles will hold a final training session on Thursday before departing for South Africa according to the team’s media officer Toyin Ibitoye.
Twenty-two players are currently in camp; the absence of Samuel Kalu is said to be over delays on his visa application with the South African embassy.
In telephone interview on Brila FM’s Sports Machine, Ibitoye said the Eagles are scheduled to leave the Country by 5pm on a chattered flight.
“Hopefully the team will arrive South Africa early enough for the players to get very good rest before Friday.
“On Friday they’ll have a light training session before they get to also have a feel of the FNB Stadium pitch,” the media officer explained.
