Coach of NPFL side and Nigeria’s CAF Confederation cup campaigner Enyimba FC Usman Abdallah has stated that the People’s Elephants have their focus solely on picking maximum points ahead of this Sunday’s CAF Confederation cup group stage match day 2 against their Ivorian counterpart.
Abdallah speaking in a chat with brila.net said the team understands the situation on ground and how quickly they must get themselves back into reckoning having lost the group’s opening game away to Hassania Agadir and that they must respond with a win on Sunday.
“The players have understood that there is a lot of task ahead of us and we have spoken to them about the loss. We all understood the situation on the ground and the attitude in the training ground has been positive and we have been training very hard and the response has been positive.
“We are expecting San Pedro to come very strong and that’s why we are set for anything they come with. For us, the three points is very important.”
