Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has hailed his teammates for a job well done following the team’s 2-1 win over South Africa at the ongoing Africa cup of nations in Egypt.
Etebo speaking after the game said in a chat gathered by brila.net that the players all gave a good performance and also hailed the South Africans for giving Nigeria a strong test.
He said after the game that everyone is happy and looking forward to the next fixture.
“I want to congratulate my teammates because they’ve done well, it wasn’t an easy game. We all know South Africa is a good team, they are confident on the ball and the coach gave us some instructions which we abide to which helped us in the game.
“And I just want to say to the South African team as well that they have done well too. It’s just a game of football.”
