Heartland head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu has disclosed that everyone at the club must play their role for the Club reclaim its lost glory among Nigerian elite clubs.
The former MFM boss recently ended his thirteen years association with the Olukoya Boys to take up the role at the Eastern Club.
Speaking to the players of the Club on Wednesday, Ilechukwu maintained that the management, players, and fans must support his visions for the club to win back their lost place in the Nigeran football.
“I want to indeed say that I am happy to be here to serve this team with the rich past record,”
“I am glad that I was picked by the board and the management to be at the centre of revamping the team. I will try my best to ensure that we achieve our objective at the end of the season.”
“I will need the support of all to ensure that I succeed. We must all contribute our quota to make the club great again.”
“I need the players to play their part too. They must be able to draw the line between play and work. We must be serious with everything that we do and everyone must contribute their part to make us achieve our aim.”
Heartland will be hoping to do well in the 2019/2020 Nigeria professional football league when it kicks start in September 22.
