Enugu Rangers player Christian Madu has expressed delight with the imminent return of league football in Nigeria which has been halted since March due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Madu speaking in a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comafter the President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick gave the strong indication in a teleconference session that the Nigeria Football Federation is ready to have league football return once they get the all-clear from the Government to proceed.
“I’m very happy to hear this because I can’t wait to get back to the pitch. I really miss football. I have been engaging myself to keep fit, I can’t wait to get back to the pitch. And it’s a very great opportunity for us as a team to get back to fight for the title.”
