A Journalist, Dickson Akinwumi and his son have died during a fire outbreak in his office on Awolowo way, Ikeja, Lagos.
The publisher/founder of Brand Campaign who recently celebrated seven years anniversary of his magazine, and his son had decided to sleepover in the office to enable them to reach the venue of the child’s examination hall the next day, but they could not make it as they were consumed in the inferno.
A family source told Cornerstone that: ” He was a caring father or how else can one explain the need to sleep in the office with his son just to get to an examination center early enough for his son the next day “.
