Kogi United chief Sule wants strict medicals in NPFL

Club Chairman of Kogi United Abdul SULE has stated that stringent medical check up be given to all players during players registration before the commencement of the League season.

The former Super Eagles defender reacted to the death of Nasarawa United defender who slumped on the pitch of play in the game against Katsina United at the Lafiya city stadium on Sunday.
Speaking to Cornerstonenewsng.comexclusively, said there is a need to prevent such an ugly incident in the League again.
”To prevent this from happening again, I think the nurses should often check the players health and the players should go on proper medical check before registration of every player in every league.
”Although, it’s sad to say anything right now, the main focus is to pray for him and may his soul rest in perfect peace,” he ended.
