Lokosa eyes Super Eagles recall ahead AFCON

Former Kano Pillars forward Junior LOKOSA has disclosed his interest in getting a second chance to prove his worth in the Super Eagles under coach Gernot Rohr.

In a chat with brila.net, Lokosa was quoted saying he is hoping to get a recall into the National team set up after making his International debut in a friendly game before the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
“If the coach invited me I will do my best,”
“The last time I was called I did my best, if he calls upon me definitely I will come and do my best”. Lokosa told brila.net.
Junior Lokosa was the highest goal scorer of the NPFL 2017 and 2018 season with more than 18 goals while playing for Kano Pilars before finally moved to Esperance of Tunisia.
He made his debut for the Super Eagles in a friendly encounter against Congo which ended in a draw at the Portharcourt stadium.
