Henry Makinwa has resumed his appointment as the new head coach of Nigeria professional football league side Abia Warriors on Monday.
The former ABS football club of Ilorin gaffer replaced Abdullahi Biffo who left the team following the expiration of his contract at the end of last season.
Makinwa who will be with star attacker Effiong Ndifreke is expected to hit the ground running at his new club with Nigeria professional football league and the Aiteo Cup to fight for when the new Nigeria Football season finally kicks off later in January.
Abia Warriors has struggled to secure a win in their pre-season friendly matches, they went down to Udala FC (1-1), Go Round (1-2) and Rivers United (0-1) at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, all matches in December 2018.
