Mo Salah relaxes as EGYPT players toughen up in closed training camp

The host nation of the 2019 Africa cup of Nations, Egypt have begun their final preparatory closed camp, two weeks ahead of the beginning of the African Cup of Nations.

The pharaohs of Egypt intensified their preparations for their 24th campaign as they continue their camping exercise in Borg Al Arab in Alexandria, Egypt ahead of the start of the tournament and friendly matches against Tanzania and Guinea.

The players of the men’s senior national team for the second day in a row continued their physical training inside the health club at their residence inside the camp which is currently in Borg el-Arab city.

 

23 players participated in the training, including Zamalek goalkeeper Mahmoud Jensh who suffered from a lightweight and receives rehabilitation treatment under the supervision of the medical system, which included both physical and technical aspects.

 

Champions league winner and the Egyptian star, Mo Salah who is yet to join the Egyptian team in camp, as he was permitted by his coach to take extra days to rest after the Champions League Final, posted relaxation pictures on his official Twitter account.

 

The friendly games against Tanzania is scheduled for 13th June, while they take on Guinea on the 16th, The matches will be held at the Borg El Arab Stadium in preparation for the African Nations Championship in Egypt which starts on 21st June.

 

The record seven-time African champions will play in Group A alongside DR Congo, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
