The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed that the Super Eagles will take on Mexico in an international friendly game in May 2022.
The game will be played on May 28th at the AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas, United States of America.
The game will serve as one of the preparation matches for the upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifiers in July.
The Super Eagles failed to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar and the NFF has now quickly switched attention to the AFCON qualifiers.
“We will face the El Tri of Mexico in an international friendly game on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas,” NFF said in a short statement.
Recalled both teams met in another international friendly at the 77,500- capacity LA Coliseum back in 2021.
The Super Eagles fielded a second-string side and The El TRI ran out 3-1 winners.
