NOC awaits International Federations ratification of Olympics qualifiers – Oladapo

Secretary-General of the Nigeria Olympics Committee  Olabanji Oladapo has stated that the NOC will await the ratification of the remainder of the Tokyo 2021 Olympic qualifiers by the international Federations after they must have agreed to new timelines on the remaining 43 percent of spaces yet to be filled for the Olympics next year.

Oladapo speaking in a chat with brila.net said the national Federations will discuss with the international Federation after which the international Federation will communicate by reverting accordingly to the entreaties of the affiliate Federations on how and when the qualifiers will come up to fill the remaining Olympic slots for 2021.
“The Federations will discuss with the international Federation, then the international Federation will pass down the information to the respective national Federations and they will now program on how to apply for their own qualifiers. We still have about 43 percent of the athletes that have not qualified.”
