Saka’s 11th assist of the season not enough to save Arsenal

Bukayo Saka provided an assist in Arsenal’s 2 – 1 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion on their English Premier League clash premier clash at the Amex on Saturday.

The youngster set up club-record signing Nicola Pepe for the first goal of the game in the 68th minute.

 

However, Brighton and Hove Albion fought back and completed the comeback with few minutes left on the clock.

 

Lewis Dunk restored parity from close range in the 75th minutes, Seagulls snatched all the maximum points in the 95th minute through Neal Maupay.

 

Saka has now provided 11 assists for Arsenal in this campaign, however, the Gunners have now suffered back to back defeat for the first time in 2020.

 

It is also the first time Brighton will be completing the double over the Gunners who are currently 9th on the log and need more than a miracle to reach the champions league next season.
