Former national team goalkeeper trainer Ike Shorunmo has rated Nigeria’s Super Eagles 2019 highly and says the performance of the team in the year under review has been so encouraging and one deserving commendation to the coach, the players, and the NFF.
Shorunmo speaking in a chat with brila.net said the team has done well to stay above board and hope the team do not grow complacent in any form but rather hope they put in a concerted efforts to better the current year next year 2020.
“Kudos to the coach and the administrators too because when the team is not doing well, the flop will be on everybody both the coach, the administrators, the NFF and the players. But with what they’ve done this year, it is encouraging and I hope they will continue to make more efforts to do better than 2019 in the year 2020.”
