Suspended coach Ugwu reacts to Rangers home loss to Pyramids

Suspended coach of Enugu Rangers Benedict Ugwu has stated that Enugu Rangers humbling 1-3 home defeat to Egyptian side Pyramids FC is a message to stay patient with the team in order to get things right and not just jump into hasty conclusion as to the competence level of a coach.

Ugwu speaking in a chat with brila.net revealed that he was at the stadium to watch the game to see the team play but unfortunately lost again under another coach which emphasized the need to simply stay with the team as football has shown that any thing can really happen to a team to win, lose or draw.
“They acted saying that i am not worthy to coach Rangers, they imported their own coach. Is it not the same loose? It’s the same loss, I take it as one of those things in football either you win or lose or draw. We lost a game. I did not have any bad or ill feeling for anybody. Let them realise that losing is not meant for somebody.”
“Nobody knew that I was there, I came in dressed differently and sat with the fans watching, hearing people’s comment and didn’t communicate with anybody”
