“The first time was nice, I had to do it twice”, Dennis celebrates Belgian league title

Nigeria forward Emmanuel Dennis is happy to win the Belgian league with Club Brugge for the second time in his career.

Dennis and his Club Brugge teammates were formally declared Belgian champions on Friday after the country’s Pro League confirmed last month’s decision to bring the season to a premature end in the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The Phillipe Clement’s side held a 15-point lead on the table ahead of second place Gent with one match left in the regular season.

Dennis was delighted to have played a part in the triumph and he took to his social media handle to celebrate the win.

“Champion of Belgium 🇧🇪 2019/2020, The first time was nice I had to do it twice 🏆 🏆  B L E S S ED ✊🏽” he posted on his social media handle with the trophy.
