Assistant coach of Nigeria’s U23 national team Fidelis Ilechukwu has stated that the technical crew of the Nigeria U23 national team is relieved to have gotten past their Libyan counterpart following Monday’s 4-0 win over Libya U23 to cancel the team’s first leg 2-0 deficit.
Ilechukwu speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said he knew the team had the potential to win going into the game but winning for qualification was the task and delighted that the team pulled the feat to record more than the needed number of goals.
He also added that the 4 players drafted from the senior team proved effective at the end of the season.
