We want to win the League title for Ogbeide! Ebube Duru reveals Lobi Stars next ambition

Lobi Stars are more determined to win the league title this season in honor of the memory and legacy of their late Coach Solomon Ogbeide after the club secured a playoff spot in Group A on the final day of the regular season.
With two games before the end of the regular league season, Lobi Stars were hit with the news of Ogbeide’s passing and the team has been in mourning since, according to left-back Ebube Duru.

Eventually, Lobi finished second behind Rangers Int’l but the team wants to keep fighting to honor the legacy of their former Boss with a successful title defense.

“It is a big loss but we want to continue from where he stopped. His dream was to play in the Super 6 and make sure we lift the trophy and that’s the legacy he left us, and we pray to achieve that,” Duru told brila.net.

“Though we are still mourning our coach, it has also given us the extra moral to fulfill everything he wanted for Lobi Stars and make sure we fulfill them for him so that his soul will be happy where ever he is.”
